Jock as in our use (a somewhat derogatory term for a Scot) , not the Yanks use which means something completely different..

Britain and America, 2 countries divided by a common language..............

common language?

I'm born and bread an educated American, but when i went to Eastern Europe a few years ago i had a 1 day layover in England. I couldnt understand a word they were saying. That's why i dont believe we speak the same language... You speak english and I speak American.... I suppose its the same between Spanish and Mexican... I took Spanish in high school and then visited Spain... turns out what i was learning was considered gutter slang only spoken in Mexico... very humbling indeed.
