Use of Signatures
Platinum Members may utilise the signature option when posting provided their signature meets the following guidelines -
- a maximum of 3 lines
- a maximum of 1 image no bigger than 250x60 (maximum 20Kb)
- a maximum of 1 external URL link
- a maximum text size of 2
Please note that your link must NOT be to any site that is illegal, immoral, or pornographic.
Signatures that do not meet these guidelines or are deemed 'unsavory' by the DX4All Administration will recieve an Infraction and have their signature removed. Repeated offences will result in the cancellation of their Platinum Membership.
Forbidden Topics
The following discussions will NOT be entertained:
- How DXSynergy make money
- Who is behind DXSynergy
- Taxes, Tax rates, Tax Evasion and ANYTHING else to do with Taxes
- Politics
- Religion
- Speculation
Why we will not discuss how DXSynergy runs their business:
The simple fact is that we (DX4All) are NOT DXSynergy. We do not know how DXSynergy runs their business behind the scenes, nor does anybody else on this forum. As such, any discussion would be pure speculation and in direct breech of these rules.
Why we will not discuss taxes:
We do not allow discussions about taxes because it is very easy for people to get the wrong impression and the wrong advice. We advise EVERY member to contact a local tax agent to get advice relevant to their jurisdiction.
Why discussions about Politics and Religion are not allowed:
Unfortunately, when these 2 types of discussions are allowed on forums they are soon followed by differing opinions, the inability to control ones own actions and personal attacks. In order to provide a place where everybody is an equal we will simply not allow these discussions.
Speculation:
The subject of what is and is not speculation has been discussed for longer than most of us have been around. At DX4All we determine speculation as being statements portrayed as fact without any basis of evidence and as such are considered a forbidden topic.
Platinum Folders:
The above forbidden topics (with the exception of Religion) will be relaxed inside the Platinum Folders as these kinds of discussions can sometimes lead to a greater understanding, HOWEVER any discussion that breaks down into unabridged arguing will be closed with further raising of the issue resulting in an Infraction being issued and the possibility of your Platinum Membership being cancelled.
Note that political discussions should be limited strictly to topics that have an effect on our DX businesses and are solution based. No matter who caused the problem, no pointing of fingers, just looking for solutions.
Personal Attacks
Personal attacks of ANY kind are NOT permitted. We are VERY strict on this rule and will enforce it heavily if forced to.
This forum is open to people from a wide range of cultures, countries and backgrounds. As such, every member here is expected to act in a professional and polite manner to other members.
Personal Info
Please do not post personal information in the forum or chat. This means no personal email addresses, phone numbers etc. This is not just for your security, but the security of all members of this forum.
Advertising
DX4All is a free site and does [B]NOT[/B] charge members for the general use of the forum. The costs involved in providing this site are covered in part by Paid Advertising.
We do allow some basic advertising in signatures (see Use of Signatures), however we do not allow solicitation or advertising via posts or the use of our Private Messaging tool. This includes indirect suggestions such as "PM me if you would like more information on a program I am in."
If you have a program you wish to promote, DX4All has provided the Referral Network forum, open to all to read and to Platinum Members to post in.
Spamming and Cross-Posting
Spamming is the process of posting the same or similar information repeatedly across several folders. We do NOT tolerate spamming at all.
Cross-Posting is the process of copying a post or information from another forum and posting it here. If you wish to reference another site please do so by posting a link to the relevant information and ensure that full credit is given to the original author. Cross-Posting also applies to those posts made at DX4All. Before posting any information found at DX4All you MUST obtain the posters permission to post it elsewhere and you MUST provide both a credit to the original poster and a reference link to the post at DX4All. The post MUST also be quoted in full and without editing.
DXSynergy Support Replies
In the past, we assumed a "one size fits all" approach to the DX system, so we actively encouraged members to post their support messages, to serve as guidelines for all of us. It has since come to our attention that DXSupport messages are, in fact, tailored to each individual's account. By posting support messages, we may be giving "bad" advice to some members, as what support recommends for one person, they would not recommend for another.
Therefore any support message posted in the forum will be removed unless the member posting it has specifically indicated to DXSupport their intention to post the message publicly. Please ensure that this response is included in your DXSupport reply and both your message and the response is posted in its entirety.
In this way, we hope to not only encourage our members to have a more interactive relationship with DXSupport, but also to reduce the possibility of members damaging their accounts by following advice targeted for another member's account.
Negativity and Argumentativeness
Negativity, Argumentativeness or Complaints about DXSynergy should be posted to them, NOT to this forum. If you have a problem with the way DXSynergy are running their business, do not come here and complain, instead either contact DXSynergy via the support desk, or find another forum to post on.

Duplicate Accounts (Sock Puppets)
A single account at DX4All is all that you require. Any user found to have created multiple accounts (especially those for the purpose of attempting to bypass any infraction) will have their new account banned.
