Re: Do You Know What You're Doing? Get To Know Your Business!!
Thanks all for this thread. I am completely green, and am learning to use this site, and still trying to figure out what the heck this is all about. The reason I am here is that I stumbled on the concept of ecurrency on the web and I am really curious about it.
I have been looking for an investment system that I can use part time, and start with small amounts of money.
I think this may be my ticket, I just need to keep learning and watching!

Fiarly new myself - there is a huge learning curve here, but don't let it scare you away. Just keep chipping away at it. The vocabulary and ACRONYMS are the first thing you want to master. That will make everything else so much easier. After a month or so, it all falls into place, then the light comes on, and you'll be off and running. Read, read, and read some more, and don't be afraid to click on links and ask questions when they arise, and there will be alot of questions. Don't jump in until you're sure you have at least a good idea of where to start. But also, don't be afraid to get started. Its quite an adventure, this DX world.
Welcome to the club!

SassyLassie - what is your problem? No need to be rude to a fellow DX4D member. Yes outxchanges are slow, but they are happening.
You maybe unhappy (and it is quite obvious you seem to be), so I suggest you cash out whatever you can from DX and giddyup.
There are those of us that are frustrated with the slowness of the system, but we have the patience and belief in this as a long term business.

Terms confusion.
AB = Available Balance, or the pot of funds you put your withdrawn DX Debit into for outexchanging.
RB = Reserve balance, or the pot of funds you buy digots from.
You can move funds to AB from outexchanging from your DXDebit Avaiable (DXDA) or your IB (Incoming Balance).
You can move funds to your RB from your IB (Incoming Balance) only. There are also your daily EOS credits which end up in RB, but you do not have control over them.
The horrendous hyper inflation of the portfolios was due in large art to the ability to transfer your DXDA to RB and buy more digots, in effect causing a "round robin" effect where the portfolios quickly grew to huge sizes.
In an effort to stabilize and control this inflation, the ability to move funds from DXDA to RB was terminated a while back.
So, if you want to buy more digots than your EOS credits allow and you do not have a console, the only source for the funds will be your IB. ANd that is funded from "outside" the system via InExchanges.
Hence, if you want more IB (to move to RB), you can either pull the funds from your pocket or wait on OutExchanged funds to land in your ecurrency account and inExchange them.
However, personally, I would not move IB to RB unless I had more than 4 months OA fee available somewhere. No telling when this slowdown will "speed up".
