Default Screw You! oooops, sorry!

Hi,

Since the article I see these words 'screw you' coming by in several posts. Members obviously felt and still feel offended by it. After rereading the article, I did a count of the word 'screw' used in this article. When it was used directly pointing at people and not at situations or at people in general it was the seventh time it appeared. After that it was three times more to be found in the article.
All together 10 times the word 'screw' was used in several ways. Bad language I think, but it's rather common for this person it seems. Being so it should not get the same weight as for a person that uses the word for the first time in his entire life in the middle of an outrage he never experienced earlier.

These guys cost us millions of dollars and our programmers went nuts trying to stop them. A high percentage of the people abusing the system were scammers. They tried to scam us and we blocked them to protect the ones in the system who were doing it right. There were a small amount of people who would take advantage and sell their parents and sell their children, sell anything just to get the better side. We rarely answer comments made in the forums other than occasionally. Earlier on these forums people who were inside the system controlling mass numbers of people were telling one thing on forums and taking advantage of those same people at the same time. We were watching these guys what they were saying on the forums and not responding because our job was to rebuild the system. Now we are saying to them, “screw you.
Looking into this quote 'it' is addressed to persons who scammed and those who really screwed (oooops, sorry again) the system and not to

So, I don't feel spoken at and don't feel offended. And by my knowledge no one off us here should feel like that.

I think that's a very gracious point of view. I do understand there are some "English" speaking countries where that particular phrase does not have the "fighting" connotation it does here.

I get what you're saying, Ben, and to an extent agree with you.

The problem is, while they may be saying "screw you" to all those who did damage to the system, but by neglecting the membership (US) and disappearing like a good old scam artist, they're saying SCREW YOU to ALL of us.

I don't get offended by words. I laugh that stuff off. I am however offended by Merv and DXS and the total lack of respect he has for US. I will never trust him, or anything he is involved with EVER again.
