And I agree completely, as I think most of our members do, as it's rare for those words to make an appearance. But, every now and then, someone gets emotional enough to use them, so this is our way of keeping it clean.

My apologies Ben, i wasn't meaning your post was bull**** at all, i meant the reason for the site being down due to the services not being ready was well, you know. Another one of those text losing the original intended meaning things.

While I agree that censorship is usually not a good thing, there exist people in this world (I am a prime example) that have a "potty mouth" and do not need to be inflicted on other people. It's a shame, but it generally works out for the better.

The bad word filter in vbulletin can be used for other things as well - Brian at TG thought a lot of spam images came from photobucket so thats a banned word over there.
