I do not have stuff like that loaded in my computer. So, it may be you are right and i am using old data. I simply went to alexa and read the FAQ'S and as I said, it was a while ago.

Went to the Alexa home page and did a search on DXS website.

Sent the following to Alexa support:

Wonder if they will answer or consider it proprietary information? Couldn't find anything specifically addressing the issues in the FAQ.

We don't have the Alexa toolbar as such, we have Alexa Sparky which sits on the bottom of the browser window and lets you know the ranking there and then.

DXSynergy has always had a ranking, when they were very busy before they went down last year for a couple of months it was always around the 90,000 mark and they have always been a secure site. After they came back up in around October they had fallen to around 145,000 and then this time when they came back up after 2 months down, they were at 600,000. Looking this morning they are at 430,749 so its moving back up. Alexa takes into account the domain itself, the individual pages do not have rankings like with google page rank.

My bank is a very secure site but it has a ranking of around 8,000 and it tells me the majority of people by far that visit the bank's site are in the UK, which is what you would expect.

Received this from the Alexa help desk:

So, I guess Charles has the right of it per secure site log-ins. However, that would also mean that all those thousands of Asian users all use the secure log-in exclusively.

Is there another DXS site, possibly not called DXS, where the non-English speaking Asian members can go to get the site in Chinese or something?

And I also have to question the DXTrace results, if that's the case.

Rather puzzling. At this point, lacking hard evidence otherwise, I tend to believe that the majority of users or account holders generally follow the demographics of the published Alexa rankings.
