Hi Russ,

I would emphatically state and affirm that frustration is NOT the key to "our" attitude on the part of the admins here. Our "attitude" is based on a clear perception of the REALITY of the current state of affairs with GDT/DXS.

If this were true, where does the snearing, sarcasm and cinism come from. I'm not accusing you but within the staff I see at least two who constantly end their posts with comments in the style I mentioned above.
Regards,
Ben

I can't speak for others, but for me...
Sneering... is a facial expression so doesn't really apply.
Cinisism... It's hard to not be cynical towards DXS.
Sarcasm... i think the sarcasm thing in part is a cultural difference more than anything. If you've spent much time with people from Australia or New Zealand you'll come to expect sarcasm in everyday conversation. Where other people use sarcasm to express frustration or anger, many of us use it to express dismay, or simply just a way to be expressive in general.
So for me, when i'm sarcastic, it's not intended as an extreme thing, it's just a standardised culturally embedded response to the situation.
All that said, at the end of the day all of us want the same kind of thing out of DXS, so pop a coldie, relax and enjoy the ride

However you are the representative a business and quite frankly if you had been working for me I'd have fired you long ago! Your remarks are not good for any business that wants to attract customers, rather than drive them away.

Good thing i'm not working for you
For the record... while i may be brutally honest to the point of rudeness, and my posts may be cynical to the point of stupidity, if i say i'm going to do something, I do it. If i plan a product or service, i work 120% to make sure it's right before releasing it.
So before you accuse me of less than professional actions, take a look at DXS and tell me they're better than my posts here?

Here I am reading another thread that has degraded into insults and hurtful accusations. Since the title of this thread is "How do you know when you are activated?" and since none of us will know that unless DXS actually comes back on line and displays some changes from their last period on line I think it is no only moot but also time to stop the fighting in this thread at least.
Discussion of opposing views is fine and I quite enjoy that. I engage in it and stir the pot because it happens to be fun. I do not engage in it to convince anyone of my view nor do I expect to be convinced of anyone elses view. If we can't enjoy this then it's time for this thread to have no further posts.
