If we're being pedantic, he actually signed himself 'Mervyn' in the email I received which does have an e, although only one.
One does tend to wonder if 'Incandescent Warthog Website Design' is another of his money making ploys. (Do your DD)

Personally I don't see this latest message as any "news" at all. He basically keeps saying the same thing, just in different ways. Regardless of who Merv really is and what "position" he has in the corporation, this is a really low-class way to communicate with the members.
As always, only time will tell what will come of all of this.

And why would that be Pluggy?
Because the registrant of iwwd.com happens to live in Victoria?
and iwwd.com happens to be the tld for the private email address used by Merv?
or maybe that is because Merv used to live in Vicotria and it is common for people to use a local company when needing a private email service?
You know what, maybe if you dig deep enough you may be able to link him to Chamberlins dingo.
If you have some evidence why do you simply not post it along with the proof so that everybody can know about it ... or is it that that 'proof' may actually be explainable and not actually the conspiracy you believe it to be?

You're very serious today Allan, didn't you notice the on the end ?
Theres no conspiracy at all, its just Merv on his own. Thats the problem, the only way to communicate with GDT is through a third party possibly unrelated domain name to one guy working in a Cyber cafe in Port Vila. The email was sent from Port Vila (small Vanuatu registered subnet) from a machine connected to likely a mature router (modern ones tend to conform to a standard private subnet these days) via webmail. Exactly what you'd expect from a Cyber cafe.
The IWWD site does have his trademark 'Coming Soon' tho.......
If I posted the 'proof' I'd violate site rules about posting private details and add another infraction to my set.

Thanks for posting this Sam. One part I'm wondering about :
Quote:

The current position of accounts and portfolio is at a point where the large inflated accounts have been returned back to a workable level and this now allows for the main services to be added and it will place the accounts and portfolios in position to be used for their proper intended use.
|
I haven't been involved with DX since its inception and do not intend to search every proclamation they have made but has DX ever explained what the "proper intended use" of the accounts and portfolios is? I'm hoping some one of our members not only knows the answer but can explain it as well.

Hi,
I completely miss the point of this sentence. Can anyone explain:
Quote:

The activity in the accounts and portfolios needs to be merged with the full activity of the main services will have a different user and market from where the current user base comes from.

Good point Ben. Wish I could explain that as well but since DXS isn't on line; no one is using it so they currently have no user base.

Ben, I'll take a stab at it. First, I believe the word "which" belongs after "services". Then it appears he is saying that once (if ever) the "main services" are rolled out, all or most of the outside activity will come from new people actually using the services. IOW, there would finally be a real economy to generate activity for our portfolios and merchant accounts.
So far, it's mostly been us "beta testers" (polite term!) just doing business amongst ourselves.
In the end, it still remains to be seen if DX will ever even get off the ground.
