"Consumer confidence at 16-year low"
They will need to provide a solution that solves a necessity as people have become more cautious expecially when forwarding monies to a company they can't call on the phone.

Another point to view is that this company might simply not need us during this stage of development.

In light of this revelation, perhaps we should accept that not being able to access funds entrusted with any given "company" is reasonable. Of course, the strong impression that they've lost (or at best mismanaged) the value in the accounts (to the point any value at all is in question), should not be of concern either... as most assuredly that value will simply be restored and accessibility will occur in "the next stage of development".
And here I always thought that A=L&E and thus any and all funds stored in a 'credit storages system' should be accessible... Silly me...

Thanks for the update. In reading various posts, there are many who have given up completely on any hopes of ever retrieving the money they have invested, and it is easy to feel that way with all the delays, being offline, etc. going on. The fact that they are still in contact at all gives me a little glimmer of hope, so as the days ahead unfold, we will see. After all, that's all we can do.

Yes, there is serious reason for doubt. But, as you've pointed out, it can be said that there still is some reason for hope as well. However, in regards to them 'still being in contact', well... as one of their account holders, they have my email address... and I haven't received any updates.

If this is the case, a lack of communication or the fact that they have been off line so often might only affect the relationships which present members/merchants have with them. Future businesses and customers would more likely develop their own views of the products and services offered to them.
Although I won't lose much if things don't pan out, I'm hoping that everything goes well for this company and everyone here. I've been following things for a long time, and have done ok over all. I know that in the past, things have worked well for many. This was during the beta period of the system where we were needed in order to test the system for future release. Many did well at that time, and I see no reason why the system will not work for DX and its members if there are legitimate products and services offered.

How REFRESHING to see a positive and thoughtful perspective!
I agree that if they end up rolling out something amazing, all will be forgiven quickly.
But, wait! Were we just stinkin' lab rats for their beta test? Hmmm......
Scientists don't care about their lab creatures
No one cares if they're happy or at peace or in pain
They just get used up and tossed away
Lab rats don't get email updates from their captors
You be the judge........
Reminds me of an old Twilight Zone episode. Kindly aliens came to earth and charmed the pants off people. Some were mistrustful, but most were enthralled. They had this book, "How to Serve Mankind". People thought they were some kind of messiahs. They went off with them to their planet to live in paradise (they thought). Someone finally translated the "how to serve mankind" book -- it was a cookbook!
Very cool episode.

I completely disagree. People do not forget something this serious so quickly. IF they do come out with something amazing, their reputation is going to follow them around like a bad smell. In this industry, a bad reputation is something that does not go away... ever!

I agree with you, Sam!
And it's not just this industry, you know?
But, on the internet where any/everyone can search and find all the past "dirt" about anyone ...
I am sorry to say that DX's name is "dirt" ...
In fact we had to deal with "nay sayers" negative comments of DX online when discussing it with prospective members, who did some DD searches online, even back in the day when everything we "Good and Wonderful with DX", so ...
You can just imagine what that will be like if you try and "market / sell" anything with "DX" in it's name after the past couple years, you know?
Sad to say ...
But, IMHO, just true now!
So all I can recommend is that if you plan to (eventually) try and market any of DX's (new?) services (if/when) they come back that you don't mention DX anywhere and "front end" it yourself, you know?
I hope this all helps and Have a Great Day!
- Michael
