I have a slight change of subject request for you, if you could. A lot of people here seem to believe you are an ex-mod by the name of Bomber (also a David, ironically). There are a lot of very good reasons people believe this, including the way you post, your name and the fact that you use a proxy IP address which hides your real IP. This whole thing actually causes an issue here..
You see, if in fact you are Bomber, the deception would be highly insulting to the leadership here and every member who logs in to read here. If you're not, then you would be owed an apology of course and life would be good.
So...
could you provide verifiable proof that you are in fact not Dave (aka. Bomber)?
Publically of by PM is fine. I for one would love to get to the bottom of this very mysterious situation.

Even if this thing isn't a ponzi, there has always been a lot of cross pollination with the HYIP arena and proxies are a fact of life. I don't use proxies, in fact I have a static IP address so I'm dead easy to find/verify. But I respect the rights of people to use them and I wouldn't hound somebody because they do and happen to sound like an undesirable.
I'm really not surprised by your dishonest response and your sarcasm.
Your actions speak volumes and sum things up very nicely indeed.

Where you figured I was dishonest, I really don't know, but your're entitled to your opinion.
However, I would think that your actions over the last few days, leave nobody in any doubt as to your motives here and your opinion of me is of no interest to me.

OK, much as it pains me, let's tell the truth here.
Pluggy ASKED to be dismissed as a mod. If I recall it correctly, he said he looked at DXS every way possible he could think of and consistently came to the conclusion it was a ponzi. He pointed this out to the other mods and tendered his resignation because he felt he could not agree with the other mods.
While there was some heated discussion as to whether he was right or wrong, I would absolutely state he resigned ON PRINCIPLE. Period.
While he was a mod, he NEVER engaged in language even remotely close to what was just done and upheld the standards that were required at the time.

Pertaining to the above post, thanks, the truth surrounding Pluggy's departure certainly raises my respect for his opinion.
I posted over in the "A very recent visit to Port Vila " a little bit ago and my somewhat dilluted defense of Pluggy may have a tad more relevance now.
CG seems to have a clearer memory than I on what occured back then. Its a while ago and the ol' grey matter isn't what it used to be. The IP banning and account removal would have come later presumably when I transgressed the primary directive back then. 'Thou shalt not discuss the means that DXGold uses to generate returns' or something similar. The 'way back machine' is down at the moment so I can't get the exact wording. Very difficult to try and steer people away from it without giving some evidence. I do remember recommending Russ to take over from me at one point.
Regards to you and your family on your recent loss. My wife and I's parents are elderly and its only a matter of time before I'm in the same boat I feel.
