I hope the information that Lynette has been so kind to share with us turns out to truly be 'good news'. But, as I'm sure many feel, while being appreciative of the information, most are also beyond taking 'an email to Lynette' as any sort of confirmation that 'all is well'. (No discredit to Lynette, she's 'just the messenger').
So, while it is indeed nice to hear 'something', the fact remains that until we actually 'see' something (i.e. a functioning system that includes functioning OX's), most will remain skeptical.
Still, 'the fat lady still hasn't sung'... and skepticism and hope can still live in the same boat... (at least the boat I'm in. ;-)

... it is best that we move closer to having the main services come online so we can use the full system.

He had to go to the 3rd floor for GDT. When he got to the 3rd floor he could see into an area with alot of computors and people at them. Someone came out and had him escorted out of the bulding.
Does anyone remember this? was this true?

Been a forum member for almost as long as it's been around. I distinctly remember that posting, but I do not remember if it's in here or over at Talk Gold. Don't have time to do a search right now and I am not sure that the entire forum database is searchable. But, yes, I remeber it.

Thank You
I would like to post more often, but am in the financial services business, have been making some changes of my own to increase my income. SO far I have been able to at least double it but am hoping for a 10 fold increase. As you know and DX has indicated, these things take time. I have sometimes been unhappy with DX because I am one of those who had a lot of "money" built up in their system before they started deflating accounts of those who had been in on the inflationary spiral. It's tough to go from $270,000 down to $16,000 and now down to approximately $4000...wait, I did get 3 or 4 thousand out during the deflationary time...so I have gotten significantly more out than I put in. I owe a big part of my patience to your site. I appreciate what you did and do. Thank You
Now I see they are making some changes which I believe, from what they've told me, will allow me to either get my money out or increase it's value through using their system in buying, selling and exchanging.
So thanks again
Don

CG, I have not been a member at TG, only here and ECM( its been so long, I think that is the MAZU site). I do remember that it was here. There was a post over at ECM to come over here and read about it. People were calling this guy "James Bond" on account of how stealthy he had to be to get in.
Thanks for the reply, I am not as crazy as I look!

I also seem to remember something to this affect. Can't remember specifics, just that it all sounds very familiar. I'm thinking it may have been sometime in mid-late 2006, but I don't recall for sure???

A likely scenario is that they invested all the moneys that DXusers inexchanged and they are living from the gains. Think about it, if they invested one million dollars at 10% interest that's a lots of money in their pockets.

Don't forget, DXS had a more than significant part in creating the 'inflationary spiral' too...

Soooo..... Was it so tough to see your $3 or $4K get there in the first place? (tongue obviously in cheek). My point of course being that you didn't 'go down' from $270K... you "went up" from your initial investment...
And then, by being allowed to withdraw your 'devalued' funds at 'face value', you were able to remove MORE than the actual value your account had. Thus removing the equity backing accounts like mine... Thus, in essence, "you" have my money.
Now the problem is that "you" of course were not alone. Others (perhaps even DXS themselves) did the same thing. (Of course if it were proven that DXS had done that, then that would be fraud. But, since that hasn't been proven, let's not speculate on that here).
In any case, the fact is that the removing of devalued funds at face value is clearly why the system is now bankrupt of any true equity base value in our accounts. (Nonetheless, DXS still 'owes us' the full value of our accounts... which they seem to state they plan to 'make good' on). So, with that, there's hope.
But remember, there should be plenty of 'backed' equity to cover each and every OX request at most any given time (yes, that means right now). Of course there obviously is not... But there is still some reasonable hope that the system can do a "phoenix" and rise from the ashes. If so, perhaps enough true equity can be regenerated to fully back the value of each and every DXG any of us have in the system (at the full DXG=1USD value stated by DXS.)
Now, there has been discussion about being 'negative' or 'cheer leading'... My comments are intended to be neither... just statements of economic facts. DXS owes their account holders money. 1DXG=1USD. They unfortunately have 'lost' the 'backing' of the value to those funds. Still, they have not 'lost' the liability (i.e. the responsibility) to 'make good' on what they owe their account holders (us).
I want to see them 'make good' on that... So, while I can accept they've made some pretty bad mistakes (that have cost them the system equity), there is nothing wrong with asking / expecting them to do their very best to get it back... and to once again be able to 'back' the values in our accounts.
Hopefully they can and will...
So I move on with concern, skepticism and hope...

There is another Dave (Bomber) who just posted over at Robin's forum that this James Bond fellow was figured out to be a hoax. The description of the building didn't fit anything in the area and there were other gross inconsistencies.
Here's the link:
