No Value, No Sense

DXSynergy is not a game. The site could be up with our Portfolios, Accounts and Consoles working but nothing would be happening now would it?
It will be back on line with our Portfolios, Accounts and Consoles but this time there will be B2B and B2C activity. This will produce profits, very small profits at that. The system will start off very slow. This is by design.
One thing for sure there will not be as many users on it this time.

Charles

Charles,
I matters not anymore if you believe what you read. I only matters that you employ common sense. I DX is ever to start again, it has NO VALUE it the currency. Maybe DX currency holders will trade with each other, however to what end. If you believe the recent letters are from Merv (who ever he is), and he says our investment and currency is stored in the DX system, then you also realize the DX system and currencey has NO VALUE. It absolutely is against all common sense that any type of currency could be removed from the market place with no effect on other currencies, for periods exceeding years, and still have any VALUE. Why would we even trade DX amoungst ourselves, this makes no sense either. I believe the founder was well intended, and I do not believe DX was ever designed as a PONZI. I also believe the recent letters from Merv to be geniune, because the stress and diminished mental capacity of the writer is typical of a defeated person. There is only one possible scenario that would have any chance of success, and that is if someone was willing to invest millions into DX in the form of some liquid currency to add value, and why would anyone do that? As I said in another forum, the Mazu bunch finished off DX before it got out the gate.

Well I don't know what to say.
I guess it is all over then?
How could I not see it until now?
If only I had put more money into this system then I could afford, only to lose my life style and not be able to pay my obligations as many in this form have I would have come to this decision sooner.
How stupid of me to do my DD and understand what GDT is trying to do! If only I had been dumb enough to not follow Russ' advice and not put more in then I can light a cigar with.
Let’s see;
Internet = Risky
Investing = Risky
On line business = Risky
Start up Company = Risky
Could it be that our money is at RISK?
But all is lost, it is over, it is done, gone, Elvis has left the Forum.
Why did it take me so long?
Disregards,
Charles
P.S. Would someone do something about that photo.

Charles, be as defensive as you like but it's easy to take the stand you are taking AFTER the fact. There were a number of very vocal members in the past who took thousands upon thousands of dollars OUT of the DX system, money which we now understand presumably belonged to all of us. All the while, GDT just looked on and allowed it to happen. Later they blamed US for "abusing the system". Doesn't that give you pause?
It was stated time and time again by some that DX could not possibly be a Ponzi because the funds were only handled by merchants. It was further put forth that DX had pretty much an unlimited supply of funds behind it, so not to worry about the amount of time it was taking for DX to launch.
Whereas I appreciate all of those who spent time, energy and money to go to Vanuatu, what good did it really do? Was any of the information that was gathered backed by any independent sources? If GDT was so wealthy, where is all of the money now?
Common in Ponzi schemes is to blame the victims. Truth be told, if GDT turns out to be a scam, then we are all equally guilty for taking part in it. While some gained in a huge way, many perhaps lost all they had. GDT would be guilty of fraud but we would all be guilty of churning each other's funds until they ran out. That's how all Ponzis work.
Only GDT knows how much went into the coffers over time and how much went into the hands of those who made a "profit". In the meantime, financial lives have also been ruined. If it turns out to be a scam, GDT was certainly not your regular run-of-the-mill scam but if it walks like a duck......
You say you did your due diligence and I believe you. What does that DD tell you now?
No one should EVER financially rely totally on any Internet program where returns are just numbers on a screen. However, we were all led to believe that GDT was indeed a legitimate business. Has that ever been proven? If so, then why has it been AWOL for months now? There are just too many unanswered questions for GDT to be considered legitimate at this point. Occam's Razor strikes again.
Why don't we just accept the fact that DX is most likely gone and get on with the rest of our lives? That way, if it does return (highly unlikely), then we can all get back to work. In the meantime, we should all let Merv know that what goes around comes around and that he and GDT are on notice. If he would just "fess up", we might be angry with the result but at least there would be closure.
Mark

Mistakes were made all around the circle. At this point in time, the ONE thing I really do not want to see is the typical finger pointing of person "A" at person "B", at person "C", etc.
The ONE good thing I do think that has come out of this whole situation is the group of people I got to meet here in this forum. I think the vast majority of the forum members has enriched my life to one extent or another and that is something i want to say a big "Thank-You" for.
Let's not forget that GDT isn't/wasn't the only game out there.

Major Joke Alert - You have been warned.
The problems get even worse: I printed out that picture to show my counsellor what had so traumatized me. He's now undergoing major psycho-therapy in a state institution. So I'm without a counsellor again!
End Major Joke Alert
