Default A new way of operating the Referral Network?

It's become clear that a chain of referrals doesn't work as well as it should (not really anybodies fault because sometimes it just happens wrong) and we have got some members signing up out of order. So I'd like to suggest a different approach to how we operate these threads. I am picturing it working like this ...

When you create a new thread it is moderated and won't appear untill approved.
We will then take the referral link you post and change it to an automatic rotating link (courtesy of Flip-Page)
When someone signs up and they post there referral link, that post will also be moderated. We will approve the post after adding the link to the rotator and removing it from the post.

This way, a random referrer will be displayed in the only link that people can join under and should then be evenly distributed.

Sound good?

love the idea! Might be more work for whoever takes on the task, but I think it would work better than the present "figure it out on your own" system, which some people seem to have a little trouble with.

It will also alleviate the possibility of someone finding a "friend" or "someone they like" and saying "I'll sign up under that person", and then putting their own link next, which in essence hijacks the line which stops the previous person who signed up from getting any referrals at all.

Some of us have been victim of the line being "jacked", whether by rhyme or reason, and even if you try to fix it by saying, hey, I was forgotten - sign up under me, that then "jacks" the line again causing more problems - so I think a forced signup referral network would be an excellent idea if someone is willing to take on this daunting task!

Thumbs up

This sounds as though it would solve a lot of problems. I know I may have inadvertantly caused a problem in the original format. With the new system everyone get a fair chance of developing a downline, no-one will be left out.
Good plan

Is this a linear, circular or actual random rotator?

Some of these programs go down to just so many levels and not to infinity. So, in my opinion, it might be better if it just randomly chooses people because it would build width that way as well as depth.

I agree... one of the problems with the linear system is that, unless you're promoting somewhere else, your downline is just going to be one line...
