So begs the question, which one would be most suitable when setting up a DXGlobal Company purely to obtain and operate a DXMerchant Console?
CLSNG - Company Limited by Shares and Guarantee maybe?

Ok, I have had it confirmed by DXSupport that for those who wish just to create a DXGlobal Company SOLELY to obtain and operate a DXMerchant Console then you should register "Personal" and a "Company Limited by Shares and Guarantee (CLSNG).

Here is the response I received from DX as to the confusion over company, corporation, personal, etc. It is enlightening; however, it seems to say (and I may be TOTALLY off) that you only need to register a P-DXGCE (see below) to operate a console. However when I registered my personal entity, I was not taken to a payment screen to pay my $950 for the console. I really can't get this!
Confusing, confusing, confusing.....

Hello Deborah,
Firstly may we clarify your reference to 'first step of Registration' and 'second step of registration'.
In order to fully understand the registration process for a DXGlobal Company it will be necessary to understand that the creation of a DXGlobal Company Entity (DXGCE) is a complete process. The registration of a DXGlobal Company (DXGC) a separate process.
Let me explain further:
A DXGlobal Company (DXGC) is a legal entity incorporated under the International Companies Act: 1992 of the Republic of Vanuatu. To establish a DXGlobal Company; a DXGlobal Company Entity (DXGCE) must first be created.
The DXGlobal Company Entity is the initial framework to which a DXGlobal Company is attached.
A DXGCE is linked to your DXProfile (and therefore to your prevously uploaded and verified ID documentation) and the Entity itself will be the linkage for the establishment of DXGlobal Companies. The initial DXGlobal Company Entity will be a Personal DXGCE.
A DXProfile Holder can only establish one (1) Personal DXGCE, though subsequent Corporation DXGCE’s can be established. (See definitions below.)
A single DXGlobal Company Entity (whether Personal or Corporation) may have multiple DXGlobal Companies attached.
Personal DXGCE:- A Personal DXGlobal Company Entity (P-DXGCE) is established as a record of an individual person. Details which are recorded include name, address, D.O.B, contact phone numbers and email address. We would anticipate a ‘Personal DXGCE’ to be the most widely utilised type, generally used for sole director DXGlobal Companies.
Corporation DXGCE:- A Corporation DXGlobal Company Entity (C-DXGCE) is established as a record of a company, corporation or trust. Details which are recorded include company, corporation or trust name, registered jurisdiction and registration number. For this type of record an administrator must be specified and such information as their personal name, address, D.O.B, and contact phone and email address provided.
A ‘Corporation DXGCE’ is generally used only where the DXGlobal Company is owned and/or operated by another company.
Secondly we would like to reply to your initial request for information regarding the notorization of documents.
As a P-DXGCE is created with linkages to your previously verified id documents, where these have been deemed appropriate, we will use that documentation in support of DXGlobal Companies established under this Entity structure. If sufficient ID documents have not been received we will contact the individual concerned to request more information be supplied.
A C-DXGCE is created as a stand alone entity with ownership being held by an established company therefore documentation, duly notarized, will be expected in support of the application in order to verify a Companies validity:- this can be a company of diverse type. (e.g. a limited liability company, or an incorporation, etc.)
Lastly we would recommend that you refer to the DXHelp Topics for further, detailed information on this topic.
We hope we have been of assistance, if you have any further questions or queries please don't hesitate to reply.
With Regards,
The DXSupport Team

Once you register your "personal entity" - go into the summary page and there is another place you need to register your dxglobal company. It will take you through a few pages that you need to fill out and then at the end, it will take you to the payment page. TIP: I have IE7 installed and the payment link would not show with this....it works fine in netscape though. Not sure about problems with other browsers, but if you are not seeing the payment link with your current browser, then I suggest trying another one.

Hi Kiplingsgold
There are two steps you need to do to create the DXGC to be able to run a console.
You have completed the first step ie you have created your personal entity (P-DXGCE).

You now need to complete the second step which is registering the DXGC. The payment screen for the $950 comes at the end of the DXGC registration.

Go back to where you completed before. Off the top of my head, I think there is another registration (or continue??) button you need to click on to start the second part of the process ie the registration of the DXGC.
Hope this helps!

I'm almost there but....when you get to the payment page, there is only a wire transfer selection....how does it know what bank I am inxchanging from (i didn't go any further on this)
Also, how much $$$ did all of y'all put down for initial capital (I think in step 2 of the registration of the company)
I also have to consider beneficiaries in case this thing becomes "all that". Did anyone complete this section? Do we have to send in ID for our beneficiaries also?
Thanks
P.S. After I wrote this question, I received the following support reply (boy they really are quick in this area!)
Hello Deborah,
Please note: the following information is sent as a general guide only and does not constitute legal or professional accounting advice.
Full explanations of the terms used within this message are available on our website.
In order to operate a DXMerchant Console it will be necessary to establish (Register and Pay for) a DXGlobal Company. (You currently only have an 'DXGlobal Company Entity').
You Register a DXGlobal Company by following the 'Register New' link from the Entity Summary Screen.
This is a nine step process.
Most of the screen should be self explanatory however you may have questions regarding the most appropriate business type to establish in order to support a DXMerchant Console. In this case we recommend that you select the following options when filling out your details on the 'Initial Details' page.
- Company Type = CLSNG (Company Limited by Shares and Guarantee).
- Company Capital Amount = $950 USD (the amount of the registration fee).
- Primary Business Activities = Sales Facilitation and Processing, Internet marketing
- Directors = Select 'No' (Please be aware this option will appoint our Nominee service in this role)
- Shareholders = Select 'No' (Please be aware that this option will appoint our Nominee service in this role)
- Authorized Contact = Select 'Any Single Contact'
In further screens leave default actions - yourself as 100% beneficiary, contact etc.
The last step of Registration is Payment.
There will be further information and expanded 'How to' guides provided via the website over the coming week.
We hope we have been of assistance, if you have any further questions or queries please don't hesitate to reply.
With Regards,
The DXSupport Team
So this gives us a basic simple way to set it up for working the console only (I think). I am still wondering about beneficiaries, though (do I really want anyone to inherit something so inherently complicated?)
