Swapping DXG-S/C via DXDirects
I am trying to read all the latest help files as fast as I can and I am also working up a LOX step by step. But has anyone discovered any reason software wise that would prevent me from swapping with somebody straight up DXG-S vs DXG-C. I think I read I can't transfer DXG-R to someone, but if I have a bunch of DXG-C and want to swap it privately at a 1:1 with somebody, what's to stop me?
I smell a support message in there somewhere.

You can do that I believe... but in order to send DXG-C you have to do it via DXDirect payment

I tried with Allan last night. Couldn't send DXG-C. All the radio buttons were there, but it refused to do it. He was able to send me DXG-S without a prob. So I suspect one of two things is going on.
1. DXS is planning on doing it in the future and simply has it ready to go but switched off.
2. The ape was too tired last night and engaged in a ID10T (I-D-10-T) error.
Right now I am leaning towards #2 after getting a nap.

Lynn and I just completed this and although what happened is what I expected, I really don't understand it nor am I happy with it.
Here is the scenario (and what we did).
I have too much DXG-C and I want to give some to Lynnette, so I do a DXDirect to her account.
I get a big warning telling me that I must do a Collection DXDirect so that the receiver knows they are about to get DXG-C (a leftover from the T3 days). I'm OK with this because I want her to have my credit.
Lynn claims it, I release it and my DXG-C is now her DXG-C. All is good, right?
WRONG!
Along with my DXG-C balance going down, I have had an equivalent amount of DXG-S placed on hold. Why??? I wanted to send DXG-C and Lynn received DXG-C. What has it got to do with DXG-S?
Now if I don't repay this DXG-Soh I am going to lose it forever and my DXG-C balance will go back up. So at this point I have now lost DXG-S and Lynn has gained DXG-C.
WHAT THE ........ ??????????????????

Looking at the bright side - if you wanted out of DX, it's a good way of converting all of your DXG-S into DXG-C and then LOXing it!! Especially as DXG-C OXs seems to be moving, and DXG-S ones don't.

Hmnn, so quiet swaps in the background won't work. Question is, is that deliberate? Some of the more detailed support responses I have gotten seem to indicate that DXS is taking a much more pro-active stance in trying to prevent system abuse and/or circumventing the system. Perhaps they want all fund swapping to occur ONLY via the trade exchange?
Guess it's time for another support message. You know the kind. Where the question is MORE than 1,500 words and needs to be an attachment.

Actually... this makes sense to me...
Your DXG-C is treated the same way no matter how you use it.... You have used your credit -- it doesn't really matter what you do with it...

So what would happen if you tried to exchange DXG-C for DXG-S in the trade exchange?
