Community Partnerships Rock!

Attn: This blog post contains addictive substances, reading it may cause a sudden burst of inspiration and motivation!
So, I stumbled across a Community Network a few weeks ago and thought it looked like it had more substance and was something I wouldn't actually have to sell to people. It’s free to join and you can earn significant commissions without having to buy anything.
You know how there isn't yet a place you can go to online as a one stop spot to meet people and find information, products and services about your Local Community or any special interest topic like Jazz Music, Organic Gardening or Rock climbing? Well, at last I’ve found it!
I stepped into a few meetings this Community Network is running and it’s absolutely amazing. The thing that really impressed me most, apart from there being no hype and the people are really genuine, is the fact that they’re sharing the vast majority of their advertising revenue from the network with their members.
Each Local Community or Special Interests Community like Organic Gardening has forums, blogs, reviews, articles, polls, videos, podcasts and photos as well as Voice and Text Chat rooms where members can network really easily. You know how much advertising MySpace and YouTube get, well from what I have seen, this network could generate heaps of money for the people who help it grow.
I took up their offer to be a Community Partner. I chose Brisbane, Dallas & Ice Hockey. They have just one Community Partner for each Local or Special Interest Community and they will share with me up to 60% of the ad revenue from the Community Ads on my three Communities.
This thing is huge, and I found I needed to attend a few presentations to fully understand the potential it has to change the way people use the Internet and how I could get in early and benefit. I’m really glad I spent the time to check it out.
Go visit the website and let me know what you think. I’d be happy to answer your questions even though I don’t claim to be an expert in it. If there are any questions I can’t answer though, they’ve got some really friendly and helpful people who genuinely want to see all of us succeed.
