Homemade Chocolate - To DIE for!!

Posted December 20th, 2007 at 12:33 AM by mwong92683
Well, my son's girlfriend and a friend of hers just started a new business making Homemade Chocolate Candies!

Check them out Here

She’s specializing in 2 types of candy bars right now.

Caramel Nut Bar - Our Caramel Nut bar is packed full of organic almonds, organic walnuts, and pecans grown in California. We discovered two of them at our local farmers market. Organic cacao nibs act as wild cards, giving each bite a slightly different flavor. The smooth,...

Well, some time has passed - OK, only a few days it seems, but I have had a chance to play around with my new toy. I haven't got everything worked out just yet, but getting there.

I can now copy from video tape to DVD - I also figured out (after the first few DVDs that I'll have to toss and do over again - arrrgh!) that I can adjust the tracking and that will get rid of those little snowy lines at the bottom of the screen. Now I get a clean copy each time.

Unfortunately,...

All's Well that Ends Well

So here goes nothing. Start with new DVD/VCR recorder. After all it IS new and I really DO want to play with it! So that's the first one. I figure that even if I can't get anything else to work, at least this unit has 1 VCR, 1 DVD, and both record from the TV and each other, so this one COULD replace everything else if it must. I don't want it to, but it COULD - - - So I hook it up to the TV set - all alone. Sitting there by itself, just my new VCR/DVD recorder and the TV, what can possibly go wrong...

OK, calm down, not a terrible thing. Should I look at the book? Heaven forbid! I don't need no stinking book! I chastise myself for even going there! This is just a minor setback. Certainly nothing to get upset about. Still early yet. After all, I set up this elaborate system to begin with. 2 Satellite TV units, the main one in the living room, one in my husbands office, 2 VCRs, 1 DVD, 1 Specialty Cable Box for Hawaiian Programming, and they ALL place nicely with each other.

They...

Time to buy a new VCR!

OK, get over it, my VCRs are about 10 years old (I mean who buys these things nowadays???) and its about time for one of them to die, so I sit at my computer to do some shopping (where I do almost all of my shopping, hahahhahaha) and I found the perfect replacement. VCR/DVD with 2 way dubbing. Now I can record from a video tape and end up with a DVD, or the other way around (???). I have a DVD recorder on my computer, and I can make copies, but not from a video tape (although my Dad now has that...
