Hi Guru,

For some reason, whenever I haven't looked in for a bit, I get this message, and I can't look at anything. The only way I can do anything is to post a thread (like this ) and then everything is OK again.

Is this how it's meant to work?

I'll try to pop in more regularly in the future too......

I'm not at all sure about this but my view is it should not be that way. I guess Allan will have to address that though.

If this it is interferring with the rest of the page then it may actually be an issue with your account or your browser. Hi Allen,

Yes I'll do that - but hopefully I'll be checking in more regularly from now on.

BTW - it was 'delaying' or occasionally freezing on explorer - but seemed to be better on Firefox, but still slow.

Now everything seems to be back to normal though.

D...

Firefox is usually faster. Sometimes things slow down here. When they do I take a look at the "Online Users" list and if one of the users is "the Guru" I figure Allan is playing in the background. Slowdowns seldom last long.

Yep, slowdowns are usually short. Meltdowns, on the other hand........
