Well last time I looked, the 'part of the world' you lived in was the same part I'm living in (or are you now living in your own world )
If you actually read the posts following yours you will see that ..

Sam confirmed that we had heard similar things
You then went a little defensive
Russ then confirmed your feelings again
You got even more defensive

So I don't actually see how we 'poo pooed' your post ... hence your post in this thread claiming we 'poo pooed' it is utter BS.

I never looked at the 'other' forum much until today. It seems ol' Bomber has made it home. You didn't want him because you perceived him to have turned to the dark side and TG didn't want him because he was perceived to be a cheerleader. Poor guy. I would stick up for him sometimes. (Been there)

Actually I'm a Kiwi now living (for the past 2 years) in Kent.

Again this is incorrect. We asked (required) that Bomber resign as a Moderator because he broke our trust agreement and could be trusted anymore (which also goes a long way to explaining a lot of his posts).

I really wish that when people post statements of fact (such as 'You didn't want him because ...') they at least make the effort to ensure what they are posting is accurate.

Not in the least. Bomber was invited to be a moderator here with the understanding that information discussed behind closed doors remained that way (just like any other membership site). When that trust was violated, Bomber was asked to leave. As it happens, I actually enjoyed a lot of the discussions that I had with him ... even though at times it was like beating my head against a brick wall (much like now )

Whilst you're here, a while back, when you were going through the messy divorce with Berta (OK, I talk in Metaphors ) she sort of mentioned in an email that you fabricated a screenshot from GDT which was aired on TG in an argument with DB. Care to Confirm or Deny ?

Other DX forums hate TG, but they all went there to air their differences and muggins here had to try and moderate.................

However, the purpose of this thread is to discuss what someone allegedly discovered in Vanuatu, not to soothe your ruffled feathers. Once again, I'll move these posts to the appropriate thread. If you want to continue the argument, do it there, or we'll be happy to remove your posting privileges altogether.

Or, you just could acknowledge how much this forum & the opinions of the people here really DO mean to you (it's fairly obvious), and we could all have a big and call it a day.

My wife is having fits of laughter behind me! Apparently, the idea of me playing anything down is funny. Meh... strange.

I call a spade a spade. If i want to discredit something or play it down, i'll do it in such a blunt way you wont help but know what my intent was. I'm not a subtle person... causes me a LOT of grief in my regular daily life, but it's who I am.
