This poll is being put forward based on posts in this thread, where it was suggested that this is what our members, YOU, wanted.

In the interest of fairness, I'm putting the question to you, our members.

QUESTION: Should 4AllAccounts go back to being the DXSynergy cheer leaders & Muzzle all non believers?

What this means is do you, a 4AllAccounts member, want 4AllAccounts to only allow positive comments and opinions about DXSynergy and the situation WE, the DXUsers face.

We would aggressively remove negative information, opinions and comments.

If you want us to go back to being the DXSynergy cheer leaders & Muzzle all non believers, vote Yes.

Wow. Going back to cheerleader central would be a big mistake in my opinion. Wouldn't that be leaving the Admin / Mods wide open for trouble down the road? By not allowing open discussion, wouldn't that be the same as the Admin / Mods giving their approval to the DX operation? I would think that would be a VERY slippery slope to be on. I'd also bet that more than one Admin / Mod would not want anything to do with that and would walk away. If that happens, you may as well shut the whole thing down and turn it over to your Angel to reincarnate at a later date.

Let's face it here. There really isn't anything positive to discuss about GDT anymore. Actually, there isn't ANYTHING to discuss about them anymore. THAT'S why the numbers are way off on this site. I think most have come to the realization that their money is long gone. I honestly don't understand how ANYONE can have a positive thought about DXS anymore. It's beyond belief. But those that have nothing but positive thoughts likely feel the same way about me.

I think that if you've got a site that's no longer paying for itself, going back to cheerleader central (like the name or not, that's what this place was when all negative talk was stifled) certainly won't change that fact. I think you guys were on the right track trying to get into other things. But unfortunately, this site will always be thought of as the DXS / GDT site and that could end up being too much to overcome.

If I were running the show, I'd shut the DXS threads off as opposed to going back to only allowing positive commentary. If someone wants only positive commentary, then I'd suggest to them to get all of those that still have positive thoughts about DXS and don't want to hear negative thoughts together and set up their own private board. I think far more are turned off by the rah rah rah of the few pro DXS people than the other way around.

I think I could get the same results in a pole that says "Should this Forum only allow negative post about DXS and muzzle the positive posts?"

My point is that every time I have posted information about the DXS site, there is always a challenge to it from the Mods/Admins. So I asked the question, 'Does the leadership here what me to stop posting?' I still have not received an answer from all of you on this.

Of course we don't want you to stop posting. Anybody can post on here, just like anybody can reply to a post with a counter-argument, or a simple disagreement.

Are you asking for specific replies to your question from EACH of the "admins" or just the owners of the site? I personally have NO problem with you posting information you receive through your "private" contacts with GDT.

On the other hand, if you want a folder like FGABIT (Douglas) had after his "meeting" with GDT, that is a different matter. Actually, perhaps that would be a better situation. A folder or thread where you could post what GDT tells you and we would simply remove any commentary from others. Any commentary from others would only be allowed OUTSIDE the thread/folder.

There is going to be commentary, no matter what. But this way you could have an open "area" where you could post information as it is given to you. Since GDT is not going to do email updates or anything like that (as far as I can see), it gives GDT a less than optimum avenue of communication. Even though it would (IMO) be less than "optimal", it is still SOMETHING more than we currently have. Currently we have nothing.

If you would commit to, say, a weekly update, I think that would be a good thing. We would commit to removing other people's posts as fast as we could and moving them to more "appropriate" areas. You have moderated forums in the past, so you know that posters will NOT follow instructions not to post in the particular thread, but we can certainly move the posts as we see them.

This way, you can get all the news out that GDT wants gotten out and not have to deal with the other "crap" as much.
