Dear Fellow 4AllAccounts Members,

I recently installed and also started using the Mozilla FireFox browser, and . . .

Some nice fellow members of the Warrior Forum “turned me on” to a free nofollow plugin for Firefox, which you may get too at:

SearchStatus | Firefox SEO Toolbar Extension

So you may see which types of links, and where, count in your favor in terms of search engine, e.g. Google, ranking, Or not

In addition to this plug-in showing you links set as “follow”, which “Count”/give you some SEO benefit vs. “no follow”, which do not . . .

It also shows the current Google PageRank and Alexa Rank of the site/page you are on, Cool huh?

Although 4AllAccounts currently shows an Alexa Rank of 113,065, which is ok, right? . . .

The 4AllAccounts home page shows a Google PageRank of 0/10, and, . . .
some of the "internal pages" show a Google PageRank = "unranked" . . . Why?

Is 4AllAccounts not listed in and/or not been submitted to Google? Or what?

I would Highly Recommend that the 4AllAccounts get this site submitted to and “Ranked” in Google to hopefully attract more Members for Everyone’s Mutual Benefit!
Wouldn’t you all agree?

Hmmm that's a very good question. I would have thought we would be tweaked for all SEO, but maybe we're not.

I would again Highly Recommend that the 4AllAccounts Admins look into this further, right?

Also, another Very Nice feature of this FireFox plugin you may want to look in to and improve/Optimize for 4AllAccounts SEO, is that it will show you “incoming / backlinks” to a site with respect to Alexa, for which 4AllAccounts currently shows 0 . . .

Which is not good for 4AllAccounts , right?

I took a quick look at the meta tags, and the keywords and description look as though they could do with some updating ... Is this something the admins can do, or are you looking for volunteers?

We mainly have a 0/10 and unranked for a lot of pages because if everyone remembers correctly we changed from dx4all.net to 4allaccounts.com in January of this year. We had built up a 2/10 and 3/10 ranking with dx4all.net but with the new domain name these things happen. Its the same thing that happened when we changed from dx4dummies.com

So our page rank is still 0 after 4 months? That's.... like REALLY bad.

My hockey site went from Page Rank 0 to 5 in 35 days, and i don't get as much traffic as we get here. I do however have a LOT of backlinks. If the forum here is set to "no follow" it could be a massive part of the reason.

Hmmmm this is what this page has for it's meta tags:

Well, backlinks should not be an issue for us. Forums like us, for the most part, usually are very good at naturally getting backlinks. Could you get Allan to check the system settings and make sure the meta tags don't have "no follow" in them. If search engines aren't following links it slams the breaks on any SEO we do.

The title and description come from the first posts of each thread it seems. Not a bad idea, but not good for the most part also, as the meta tags don't include the keywords for 4allaccounts itself.
