Another quick recommended improvement for the 4AllAccounts site, which IMHO would potentially benefit both 4AllAccounts and All it’s Members!

Why don’t you offer / implement some kind of Referral Program / Affiliate system for 4AllAccounts?

I would recommend you offer some kind of Referral Bonus both for just having new 4AllAccounts Memebers Register underneath you / from your “affiliate link” and a Higher Bonus if they become a Platinum Member.

I will leave it to you all to figure out, and/or we may further discussions herein, at to what each of these Referral Bonuses are? How and when they are “paid out” / credited to the referring Member(s), etc., which makes the most sense / is most practical for 4AllAccounts and provides a Good Incentive for Member’s to help grow the 4AllAccounts (regular and Platinum) Membership, ok?

Again, IMHO, something along these lines of some kind of Referral Program / Affiliate system for 4AllAccounts would potentially benefit both 4AllAccounts and All it’s Members as it would incent Members to help promote 4AllAccounts elsewhere on “the net” and help Grow the 4AllAccounts Membership, which is Good for All of us!

right?

So …

Please, let us know what you think of all of this?, and how we may help make something like this happen and succeed for all of our benefit, ok?

Considering we have 5 figures of DXG in accepted payments which we simply do not ever expect to see, I do not see where the money to do this would originate.

What do you suggest?

Well, Referral / Affiliate Programs typically pay out some percentage(s) (%) of the profits generated from the Referral / New Member as a Commission / Referral Bonus to one or more levels of Referrers / Affiliates, you know?

So for referred Members that pay for a 4AllAccounts Platinum Membership, you could chose to pay out a percentage of the Platinum Membership subscription fees to the referrer(s), iff you want, you know?

And since, I understand, just new “non-Platinum” 4AllAccounts Members do not generate any direct cash influx for 4AllAccounts, you could credit the referrer/affiliate who referred them with something in Credits, assuming these Credits actually have some real use/value and therefore provide a Real Incentive for 4AllAccounts Members to actively promote 4AllAccounts and refer other new Members, right?

IMHO, there are many indirect benefits to both 4AllAccounts, some of which may translate into cash influx(es) for 4AllAccounts, you know?

and also for all the other 4AllAccounts Members, from a continuously growing Membership too, right?

Finally, iff the 4AllAccounts Credits actually provide some real benefit/value (?), then they may provide a sufficient Real Incentive such that you could chose to pay for referred new 4AllAccounts Platinum Members in Credits too, and then 4AllAccounts can keep all the cash generated from the additional Platinum Membership subscription fees

, you know?

Again, these are just some of my “brain storm” ideas as to how you may with to make this work, iff you want to (?), for Everyone’s Mutual Benefit!

We do actually have a referral program built in to forum which you can access from your UserCP. Currently there is only a 'points bonus' for promoting this, but has we haven't yet determined how the points will actually be used ... well you never know what we will do with them

Any word on what these “points” for referrals will be useable for? And when we will be able to use / benefit from them?

Some of the reasons I am (re)asking include that …

1) We are preparing a number of email marketing campaigns in which we would Love to include a mutually beneficial referral to 4AllAccounts!: )
2) We also need / plan to do some postings in some other very popular internet marketing forums wherein we would be happy to also include some mutually beneficial references/referrals for other, possibly including some “big name”, internet marketers to join us here and participate in 4AllAccounts!

So …

Please let us know when and how we may do so in such a way that it is of Maximal Mutual Benefit to all of us!

It's a bit hard to say right now Michael. We have been kicking around a number of ideas such as -

payment for forum advertising
payment for Platinum
exchange for ecurrency

etc, but at this stage we have not made any final decisions until we can better guage exactly how they are being earned and what members would like to use them for.

The only part we can be certain of is that they will become beneficial.

IHMO, all those ideas for potential uses/benefits of “referral points” sound Good!

Additionally, what do you all think about something like having 4AllAccounts “stores”, like DXShopping stores, wherein maybe these “referral points” could be used to "rent store space" and/or buy “stuff” from other's and/or a "house/4AllAccounts store"?

FOI (for our information) – Does? or will? your referral system use “permanent cookies” such that if we refer people now, but they don’t register or join Platinum, etc. until much later that we will still get Full Credit for these referral? (which I would Highly Recommend, you know?

)

So, again …

Please let us know when and how we may begin Referring others to 4AllAccounts in such a way that it is of Maximal Mutual Benefit to all of us!

The referral link has been usable since I posted about and made it easier to find (just look at your UserCP) and you will get credit for any referred members. I am not 100% certain what the life of the referral cookie is but I believe it is something ridiculous like 6 months.

As I mentioned before, we have not yet determined how the credits will be used but we are taking note of all suggestions and discussing their merits and how we could incorporate them.

Yea, 6 months is pretty good/long, but … “permanent” would be even better!, you know?

Yes, I saw / know where to find our referral link, Thank you.

I assume you have the ability to track any referral whom eventually subscribe as Platinum Members, and that those will be “worth” considerably more! Right?

And I assume, seeing nothing to the contrary that this referral system is currently only a single “tier” referral program, huh? And at least a two tier referral program would also be Really Nice!, you know?
