Thanks for letting us know Ben.
I have looked at what went wrong and discovered that again the failure happened with the DXGPC either not being notified about the successful payment or not acknowledging the successful payment.
Again I have had to suspend accepting an e-service due to an automation failure so currently our DXGPC is only able to take e-gold, e-bullion and Pheonix Dollar (and I have my doubts that any of those will work either)
I will manually extend your Platinum membership now.

Hi,
Thanks!
From this side the payment went very smooth. You did receive it, did you?

Yes. This is the same problem we had with a DXG payment recently. The payment itself goes through and we received the funds, but somewhere between the funds being received and the DXGPC being told the funds have been received, the process breaksdown.
Now either the e-service (so far both DXG and Federal Gold) fails to send a notification to the DXGPC or the DXGPC simply ignores it. Either way it doesn't work automatically and that is the whole reason for using the DXGPC.
These basic operating failures are really starting to get on my nerves.

See, now that's of concern to me. There is all this emphasis coming from DXS about testing and using the commercial features/services. Yet the key central software (DXGPC) that links all these services and should be the shining example of "how it's done" still is buggy. I would think the DXGPC would b a priority goal over most any other thing.

And if I had anything to do with it, it would be. I would just love to get my hands on some of the coders and explain to them that if they can't get the job done PROPERLY, there are plenty of others out there who can.

Can't enter Federal-Gold as well. Is that because no one lists OutX'es in FG?

I have sort of the same problem, I am told that I can not look at some threads in platinum, although I
did renew with DXG and it appears that the payment went through.

There seems to be something a bit 'off' with the DXGPC. Please PM the Guru with the payment deatils and he will get it fixed. | |
