Thanks to everyone who helped, we're back on the road! You have no idea how much Mrs S2k and I appreciate all your generosity, support and love (yep, that 4 letter word is a good work me thinks).

I thought you might all like to see some pics of the car we got.

It's a 1990 Nissan Pintara Executive 2L Auto. We're the second owners. The sticker price was $3999 but they'd reduced it down to $2999. They traded in our old magna (which is stuffed) for $300 so it only cost us $2800!

For those car buffs, here's the basic specs:

ENGINE:
Type: 4 cylinder crossflow 8 valve SOHC
Capacity: 1974cc
Max Power: 83 kW @ 5200 rpm
Max Torque: 168 Nm @ 2800 rpm
Fuel System: Electronic Fuel Injection
Fuel Delivery: multi-point injection

FEATURES:
Aircon
Power Steering
Radio / Cassette (dang, gonna have to get a CD player LOL)

Welcome to the world of Nissan car owners Sam.

I have a Nissan Primera 1800cc, automatic, year 1994, and I just love it.
It's got all that other stuff too, (I think, but don't ask me what that all means) :
I am a nurse, not a car expert.

Only difference is my car radio doesn't play CDs, but I've recently bought a new radio that does play CDs, and just need to get that installed.

You did good !!

A friend of ours has offered us a car CD player for $20. I should be able to install it myself.. i hope.
