Thank you... I was just getting ready to post an update to one of the FAQs... might as well add that to it. And I might as well post it right here so everyone will be sure to see it. (of course if you can see this... you know where the forums link is)
I will have it posted here in just a few minutes. It will be added as soon as someone gets to it.

Re: Add your FAQ Q&A here
What is the best way to get more Info?
If you have read through all of the getting started pages, the walkthrough, and the FAQ's and are still lost... I have a few tips to help you out.
If are still not sure what to do to get more information, may I suggest you check out the blue bar on the top of every page. Lots of useful stuff there.
If you need to look up something specific, there is a wonderful search function, at the top of every page, in the blue bar. The advanced search works well. You can be as specific as you need, or search by a particular poster, or even the date. Just remember if you do not get the response that you expected, try different "keywords"
Almost any question that a 'newbie' could ask, has already been asked and answered several times. So you are sure to get at least a few posts that should help you out. Just please make sure to check the post date and cross reference with DXIO News articles so you are sure to get up to date information.
You can also find lots of important information at the DX web site.
DXIO>>General>>News: This will give you any updates or changes as they occur. Check these daily and read previous articles.
DXIO also has a help section. DXIO>>Help Topics.
There you can choose either Contents, Index, or search.
Contents: This will show you specific areas in the DXSystem and break them down into topics pertaining to that section.
Index: This will show you all the DXHelp Topics together.
Search: You can look up by either entering a Topic ID# or a specific subject.
The DXSystem can be overwhelming and we all understand that.
If you still have a question that is not covered in these sections, or in your search, you are more than welcome to post it in the correct folder (please try to get it close anyway). The "Forums" link can be found on the blue bar.. at the top of the page, when you are on the homepage here at our board.
There are alot of knowledgeable people on this board that will be more than happy to help you.
You can look through each forum seperately or use the 'Active Posts' or 'New Posts' link, again in the blue bar.
One important thing to remember: We are a "training portal" not a baby-sitting service.
All of our Mods here are "volunteers" and we will do our best to guide you.
But if you want the best possible answer to your questions, do a little research, on your own, before posting your question.
Fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the ride!!

Re: Add your FAQ Q&A here
Berta I didn't see this specifically dealt with in the FAQ and have seen it numerous time in the forum. Feel free to edit however you feel necessary. I have tried to word it as plainly as possible, remembering how lost I was as a newbie.
How do I know what digots to buy?
There are certainly many strategies that are followed (and this is a good thing--variety). However in the current environment of using the reduction tool (which does NOT reduce credit line-but keeps your OA fees down to a great degree) it is more important than ever to pay attention to the premium percentage of a particular digot. If given a choice between premium price and premium percentage, the percentage should win out (REMEMBER: MORE IS NOT NECESSARILY BETTER!). Keeping your CL/TDV ratio down will keep your portfolio healthier for a longer period of time.
If you are concerned about currency fluctuations, always buy digots in your home currency.
The best way to figure all this out is to use the DIGOT DATA TABLE on this site and sort through whichever criteria you wish to follow. The Basic DDA is really easy to follow.
