Let me clear up a few points recently raised ...
Although we welcome new members with open arms and will do our best to help wherever we can, we also have to protect our longer standing members.
When you first join DX4All you do so as a New Member and as such must first go through a very painless probation period.
For a short while we will moderate all your posts ... this means that your post must be approved before it will appear on the forum. This is to protect our members from those out there who just want to come here to cause trouble.
We also have to restrict access to certain areas of the site in order to prevent those who are simply registering in an attempt to gain access to our members data.
Item such as your avatar need to be purchased from the eStore. At DX4All we operate an eCash system where you can earn eCash points by being active and contributing to the forum. These points can be used for a number of things on the site. Check out the eStore on the nav bar above.
All of these things we have done in order to make this site not only safe for our members, but a fun community in which people want to contribute and feel 'part of the family'.
I will not go into specific as to what exactley you need to do in order to become a regular member, or the various ways and amounts of earning eCash as this would simply defeat the purpose by giving those who we are trying to protect against the knowledge to get around them.
I hope you all understand that this is nothing personal against new members.
