I think the reasons here would be because the player also delivers advertising while being used?
I'm in two minds as to whether this is a good idea that would work or a bad idea because there are soo many other choices out there which don't involve adverts.
The bit that put me off though was the question they answered incorrectly.

They forgot to mention that this is if you only want to use it via your browser. If you want to download it to run from your Desktop, then you must also have Windows ... no Linux version
